Cultonomy is operated by Drag The Net Pty Ltd (ABN 41 672 521 032) ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect your personal information when you use Cultonomy at cultonomy.com and our related mobile apps and services (the "Service"). We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and, where applicable, the EU/UK GDPR.

1. Information we collect

Account information — name, email address, password, and profile details you provide when you register or manage an organisation.
Content you submit — photos, posts, events, messages, and other content you upload to the Service.
Payment information — when you subscribe or purchase, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers; we receive limited transaction and subscription details.
Usage and device data — log data, device identifiers, and analytics about how you interact with the Service.

2. Instagram and Facebook data

Cultonomy lets organisations connect or claim their presence using Meta's platforms (Instagram and Facebook). When you choose to connect an account, we access only the data you authorise through Meta's official APIs — such as your public profile, account username, and (for organisation claim/verification) messages you send us to confirm ownership. We use this data solely to verify ownership of an organisation and to display the organisation's public profile within the Service. We do not sell this data, and we use it strictly in accordance with Meta's Platform Terms and Developer Policies. You can revoke our access at any time in your Instagram or Facebook settings, and you may request deletion of any data we received via these APIs (see our Data Deletion page).

3. How we use your information

To provide, operate and maintain the Service;
To process subscriptions, payments and payouts;
To verify and display organisations and their public profiles;
To communicate with you about your account, security and updates;
To improve, personalise and secure the Service; and
To comply with legal obligations.

4. How we share information

We share personal information with service providers who help us run the Service, including Stripe (payments), Supabase/Amazon Web Services (hosting and database), Amazon SES (email delivery), and Google (analytics). We may disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights. We do not sell your personal information.

5. International transfers

The Service is global. Your information may be stored and processed in countries other than your own, including jurisdictions whose data-protection laws differ from those where you live. Where we transfer personal information internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected.

6. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and to meet our legal obligations. You may request deletion at any time as described on our Data Deletion page.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@cultonomy.com.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the "Last updated" date above.
